The Seniors Committee provides services to three Senior Residential Facilities located in the community: Arden Courts Memory Care, Aspenwood Senior Living and Oakview Rehab and Assisted Living. Programs and interactive activities are developed to support the spiritual, mental and physical wellbeing of the residents. There is focus on educational information, health tips, inspirational scripture and songs, poetry, dance, comedy, fashion shows, birthday and holiday celebrations, and gifts for all.

The National Council of Negro Women, Potomac Valley Section, Seniors Committee currently provides services to three facilities annually for a total of nine visits. The Seniors Committee remains committed to serving Long Term Care and Assisted Living residents through programs designed to support the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of the Residents. Despite the pandemic, we continue to serve by providing gift bags with personal care items to residents. 2021 Fall Outreach Event
