The Ways and Means Committee (WMC) is responsible for planning and executing fundraising activities and events to support the financial needs of the Potomac Valley Section (PVS), a community based section of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. WMC’s fundraisers are critical to financially support PVS’ community service and outreach programs, activities, and projects designed for women, children, and families in need. For example, these funds support but are not limited to seniors and youth enrichment programs, educational seminars/workshops, homeless shelters, seniors facilities, clothing drives to name a few.
